He is known for his action-filled protagonist role in movies. He has since been a household name among Yoruba movie lovers.
Ogogo’s hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State, to Taiwo Subaru Akande and Halimat Ayinke Jenrade.

Education
Alhaji Taiwo Hassan attended Yaba Technical school in Lagos where he was trained as an automobile technician. He was later employed as an auto-mechanic at the water corporation. While working at the water corporation, Ogogo does acting on part-time under the tutelage of Awo Ademola Fagbemi.
In 1994, he resigned to focus fully on acting.
Ogogo has featured in more than 100 movies and has won awards, and has been nominated for numerous others. He is a proud recipient of the City People Movie Lifetime Achievement Award.
