Education
Larry Izamoje attended the Institute of Continuing Education, Warri, before attending the University of Lagos, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
Larry then proceeded to bag a Master of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos before acquiring a doctorate degree from the Business School, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Larry Izamoje started as a freelance reporter under Ernest Okonkwo at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
He later worked with Concord Press as a sports reporter, promotions executive, and Deputy sports editor from 1986 to 1990 before joining the now-defunct Mail newspaper as sports editor in late 1990.
Larry also worked briefly with DBN-TV Lagos before starting his independent production and sports consultancy company, BRILA FM.
Brila FM then became the first sports radio station in Nigeria and Africa.It started on air operations in 2002, and Larry serves as chairman and CEO.
In January 2007, Izamoje started his second station in Abuja’s Mpape Hill neighbourhood. To maintain its quick development program, Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM opened its Kaduna and Onitsha stations in 2011, marking another significant achievement for Larry Izamoje.
